URBAN PLUNGE MISSION TRIP | MEXICO CITY 2018
Our mission trip to Mexico City for fall break 2017 was so unforgettable that we went back again this year. We partnered with Hope of the Poor to serve some of the most marginalized populations of Mexico City and made the pilgrimage together to the Tilma of Juan Diego, which features the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Before our departure, Bishop Burns celebrated Mass with us at SMU in preparation for the trip, and he joined us there to serve the poor. This year, 25 students made the journey together and will forever remember the impact the time in Mexico City had on our lives.
